I don't dislike the prequels, so no, I probably don't. :)
... Really, they are good... RotJ is my favorite Star Wars movie, but I'd say that RotS and ESB are tied for second, for sure. RotS was indeed great... AotC was pretty good too, and aside from Jar-Jar I like TPM. I find politics and such interesting, so I have none of those complaints about the political themes being "boring". They aren't, they're actually quite interesting! And even with Jar-Jar, I think the character concept -- a person cast out of his people for things that are no fault of his own -- to be very well done. It was only the juvenile, childish execution, and the lame jokes he does, that bring his character down... Jar-Jar is the weakest part of the film. But even that isn't nearly as bad as many people make it out to be.
As for the Special Editions, I thought they were mostly fine, watching them in theaters back in '97. It was just so awesome to be able to see the movies in theaters, in a way I of course couldn't have in their original releases! Most of the CG stuff worked; sometimes it did stand out, but it's mostly not so bad. I do agree that they should have kept Han shooting first, though... but my main complaint about the Special Editions isn't something he even mentioned, actually. It's the ending. Now, he mentioned that bit where you hear Jar-Jar in RotJ (which I definitely never noticed); but what annoyed me wasn't that, but that that came at the EXPENSE of the awesome Ewok party celebration song ending! What would Star Wars be without the "Yub-Yub" song... :(
Other than that though, the SE changes weren't bad. I like the original versions too, and the only versions of the original trilogy I actually own are the originals (on VHS), but I don't hate the changes or anything.
