Just came in here lazy!
So far her "feel" in her suit form is pretty much the same. I haven't really noticed any sweeping changes in how she controls or her timing or anything. You can start in Zero Suit form by holding down the shield button after selecting her as you press start. Also, if you press up down up on the taunts (or 1 2 1, depending on what controller you are using), you can ditch the suit automatically, but you can't summon it back the same way. Unlike Trainer and Zelda, the game doesn't allow an easy way to change forms with Samus. That's the one major failing I have in her character design. Yes, her meteor attack still works as well as before.
By the way, Toon Link basically controls like Young Link, as you might have expected. There are some changes for him though. His meteor strike is still present, but I have noticed it now results in him shooting straight down instead of just holding the sword down as he falls. This can be great for doing quicker meteors but if you aren't careful, you can KO yourself.
