I wouldn't be so sure EM. Companies tend not to do big and dwindle down to small stuff. That just loses interest. No, more likely they've got some big announcements but they are told to keep them under their lid, and in the meantime to make it seem like they are constantly updating, boring stuff, except this!

Here's the thing everyone's been wondering about, how the smash balls work. Seems you don't just automatically do the move when you get the ball, you whack the ball until you get it, get an aura, and use it strategically from there. Also you can steal it from someone who hasn't used it yet, and someone who's been beaten badly enough can get a "pity" smash mode bestowed on them sometimes.
Captain Falcon represents an entire series that I haven't heard about yet, whereas Ganondorf would just represent a series that's already accounted for.
Oh and EM, keep in mind that Ganondorf, if they do include him, will likely play like a totally different character than you remember. Don't worry about that too much though, I mean you didn't burn your Melee disk did ya?
