You're not serious are you? I can beat a team of lvl 9 players by myself in Melee, but a single skilled human player can be a handful. The AI is good, but it's just a computer. Nothing can emulate a true human player. Humans weigh options of where to go and what they should do. Even Melee's lvl 9 AI is not that great:
CPU Players will seek out and use healing items the instant they appear, no matter the amount of healing or distance away. A CPU will run from one end of the arena to the other, getting pounded by all his enemies the whole way, and still remain solely focused on getting that 3% health increase from a piece of Food.
If a player picks up a Starman or Hammer, all CPU Players will flee from the player with the effect and do nothing but flee until either effect is gone. If someone else has it and isn't to close, you can walk right up to them and hit them with a fully charged Smash Attack and they won't try for a second to stop you.
They'll walk right over Motion Sensor Mines as if they weren't even there and get blown to hell.
Not to mention all of the things humans bring to the table like favorite combos or favorite moves. You'll never see an AI Wavedash or throw bludgeoning weapons like Home Run Bats and Star Rods at players returning to the stage (one of my personal favorite strategies, very difficult to recover from).
So I truly hope you don't seriously think that the AI in SSB holds a candle to playing a real life human player, because if you do, you're nuts. You play online enough to know there is a mountain of difference.
The Earthworker Race has ended. Everybody wins.
