I will grant it is skill to learn how to use the controller correctly, but it is not a skill that really impresses me that much. A battle determined entirely by who managed to actually memorize vast command lists isn't one I think is all that impressive.
Rather, I consider it far more impressive when the playing field for those with good and bad memory with commands is evened and the victory is determined solely by the skills of strategy and quick reactions.
I LOVE Captain Falcon! They BETTER keep him in there! Rather, they should differentiate Ganondorf more from Captain Falcon and really make him his own character.
