In it's proper form anyway. On the PSP, with both the original and a full 3D remake (2D gameplay though), and to top it all off, Symphony of the Night with some minor graphical enhancements.

Well, that's ONE game on the PSP I actually want, and it's a re-release!

Mind you, I already own Symphony, and mind you, I can already play it on my PSP thanks to hacked firmware and a special ISO ripper program that converts the game disk into a file compatible with the latest PSP firmware's new PS1 game emulator. But, I don't have Rondo and even compressed that's a pretty large chunk of memory that game is currently taking up, so this is still something I want and the first PSP game I'll be getting since Portable Ops.

I played Rondo (emulated)... it's awesome, if a bit easy (if you play as Maria anyway; it's harder with Richter). If it was available on a platform I had I'd get it...

... I'd like to have Symphony of the Night... it's at the top of my PSX "I'll get it if see a copy (and have enough money)" list with Legend of Mana...

Hopefully they'll augment Symphony and improve its faults.

Primary among them is the fact that the game absolutely lacks challenge unless you provide your own. I'd also like to see them take the fifteen or so basic swords and give them abilities that make them useful, because by the time you find the powerful ones, they're not as useful as the faster multi-hit weapons already available.

Oh yeah, restoring the new areas in the Saturn version is vital.

Not just new areas, but the new character.

A "hard mode" would be nice too. Mind you, I actually had a tough time at various spots, namely because I didn't take the time to level up, but assuming one kills every last enemy they see then yes, the game is fairly easy.

That said, it seems it'll be exactly the PS1 game with widescreen and graphical tearing fixed (and a little control alteration). I doubt they'll be adding the Saturn bonuses... annoying as that may be. Oh, new voice acting would also be nice, and a redone "game over" screen (the one in the game is pretty cheesy).

Now I'm glad I have a PSP. I wouldn't be surprised if I check the drawer where I keep it and find that it has decomposed.

Interesting PSP games that are out

    Wipeout Pure

    Interesting ones coming out
    Gurumin
    Castlevania Dracula X Collection
