Quote:Meh can live without VF5. Quote:no surprise. no matter though, never was a VF fan, let alone a fighting game fan. doa4 & possibly KI3 are more than enough to whet my fighting game appetite. Quote:Doesnt bother me, way to many cool games coming out to worry about one less fighter.

This isn't good news, however it's not a death blow by any means. Virtua Fighter is most popular in Japan, and in Japan the 360 fails. It just makes financial sense for Sega to concentrate on the PS3 release.
This means hardly anything to western audiences. They'd rather have a new Tekken or Soul Calibur. Sadly, neither of which will probably make it to the 360. Oh well.
Jak 3 : Jet Set Radio Future : Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee : Final Fantasy XII : Shadow of the Colossus : more to come...

Virtua Fighter is better than Tekken, and worse than Soul Calibur...
Killer Instinct, on the other hand, is just annoying. Don't bother making a sequel, I don't think I'd want to play it...

I can honestly say that Virtua Fighter has not interested me since its release on 32X. It was neat because it was 3-D, but as time went on and new fighters hit the market, each one boasting better visuals and such, i ended up going back to Street Fighter, KI, etc. And then SSB came out on 64 and that was it, I couldn't go back to button mashers or difficult combos, and I went through 6 controllers playing SSB. Stupid frail control stick. :D
It's good to see VF making its rounds again, maybe it can offer some competition to SC |
