The White Chamber is a newly released adventure game in the vein of Lucasarts and Sierra's old-school games. However, a closer looks shows that The White Chamber is a bit different from those games. You see, TWC's main influences seem to be Eternal Darkness, Silent Hill, and animes. All of these things come together to create an interesting experience. Oh yeah, did I mention that TWC can be obtained by the low, low price of FREE?

You can download it from Studio Trophis's website [a group of independent developers]. The file size is about 300MB so it'll take a while, but it's really worth it. Seriously, if you like adventure games and don't try this one out then you are the lamest person in the world and if I met you in real life, I would probably punch you in face.

Straightforward, without really obtuse puzzles, not that hard, and not very long (just a couple of hours), but the graphics and artwork are fantastic, the story is solid and interesting, and it's fun... even if I was wishing for more classic adventure game utterly obtuse and ridiculous puzzles you'll never figure out without the strategy guide. :)
