Haha, well we were all a little bit like that back then. :D

I remember my first forum post ever. It was at the DC part of NURB back in the day. My name was horribly unoriginal, Sqauresoft_fan, [yes, I misspelled it], and my post was about a PSX game and not even a good one, also I made the claim that it "didn't have enough CG for my taste". On retrospect, and after I realized it was the wrong forum, I became so embarrased that I never posted there again and so sqauresoft_fan made his one post and then was never seen again. Great Rumbler on the other hand...

I'm pretty sure my first forum post ever was in Blizzard's Starcraft War Room forum, in August or so of 1997... I read that forum a bunch (through mid '98), but only posted a couple of times. After that, my next forum was probably GBStation (or, at the time, GB Dojo...), in early/mid '99... that site left Nintendojo, and then died, but it's still got a EZBoard I visit sometimes. And then here. :)

Or in short, I never acted stupid because I was too shy to post much and act that way. Oh, there were a few other forums I read and occasionally posted at, after I joined TC (Nintendojo, NintendoNext, maybe something else), but at none of them (including TC) did I post anything close to like how I post now here...

I've post at Tendocity, Cloudchaser forums, TeamXbox forums [during the height of my fanboy days, good times indeed], Anime-Forums, and I think that's it. While at TeamXbox I went under the name "It Came From MS", I started acting like a stupid Xbox fanboy, but I eventually decided to just post normally. I made quite a few ignorant and uninformed posts during my stay, but I didn't care because it was fun fighting in the treches against the forces of evil even if I had no idea what I was talking about. Ah, good times. By the way, I still post sometimes at Anime-Forums using, of course, the name that I am now famous for: Great Rumbler.

I stopped posting at Nintendorks like a year ago (haven't registered for their new forum...), and NN died several years back... and GBStation gets like two posts a week. :)

So it's really just here. Well, I do have a couple hundred posts now at the IGN Guild Wars forum... not many compared to how many posts that gets, but it's something.

Seven months, GR, seven months! Can't you read? Six-and-a-half... :shake:

And if I wanted to prove you're a silly Newbie, all I'd have to do is look at your name... after all, only a newbie would keep a name based on the name of the forum after the forum changes names, right? :)

What are you talking about, ABF? [By the way, that name "A Black Falcon", is really dumb, only a newbie would have a name that unoriginal and lame] I got this name because I'm a rumbler [you know, gang fight stuff, like in that one movie] and I'm great at it. Great Rumbler. *rumbles*

You may think that, but in reality, even my avatar could beat you... a lego minifigure could beat a rumble pack any day of the week.

Yeah but your name isn't "Black Falcon" or even "A Black Falcon lego", it's "A Black Falcon", which is a really weird name to use. It would be like someone choosing the name "A Paper".

Just try addressing your name. "Hey A Black Falcon!". "How goes things, A Black Falcon?".

I had reasons for using the A. Just like you must have to make your username a somewhat lame acronym-version of a certain popular movie character... :)

I mean, if I just called myself "Black Falcon", it sounds like I'm the only one... there is more than one Black Falcon minifigure...

First of all, I came up with "OB1" looong before anyone else did (to my knowledge). It was clever in 1998!

And "A Black Falcon" makes no sense, grammatically, unless you are talking about a bird. In your case it's used as an adjective, so it's like "A Brown".

"A" is to say I am a Black Falcon... I was attempting to say 'not the bird' too, kinda, I think... though the (peregrine) falcon is my favorite bird. :)

If you want it done right, do it yourself.

    First result

    Other results:

    GameBoy Station

    GameSpot Forums

I also found these lego related pages:

    Black Falcon's Wall

Classic-Castle.com - This one's pretty cool for a lego collector.

I don't use google. :p ... but yes, you're good at this stuff, aren't you...

First result... Nintendorks... haven't updated that in quite a while... a year, at least, since that's about when I stopped going there much...

GBStation, yes, I post there, have since even before I got to TC.

Gamespot? Uh, I think I posted once... but I do have a profile.

Google search is the best, Yahoo search is for dumb newbs with equally dumb names!

    I don't like google. So there. :)

... it's got this stupid logo, with those oooo's, and in many colors... it's dumb! Really! :D

I also have a Yahoo email account, and Yahoo fantasy baseball, and my website's on Yahoo (though I almost never actually update that thing)... so I have reasons for why I'd want to go there. And I actually do like the fact that the mainpage's got more than just the search box... the searchbox is highlighted by default so you can just start typing, so who cares if it's got a big page below it? And it tells me if I have new mail on that page, so I'm not complaining...

Google's the better search engine though. As in it gets more and better results.
