I got that compact flash player and want to try the nes emulation, so could someone here attach a zip file with a few games? I'll delete this thread after I get 'em.

    Because.

... I still managed to fill my HDD almost to full... of 104GB I currently have 13 free. With nothing illegal. :D

... I went through my game collection and burned to my HDD all the games with redbook soundtracks, installed 15GB of game demos from my five years of demo CDs, and bought a bunch of multi-gig games this year (Rayman 3, BG&E, Icewind Dale II, KotOR, and SWoN...), and of course I try my best to never uninstall any games I install, so they all have to stay... :)

With as many games as I own I don't need roms, between all the game soundtracks (the cds and some from official websites -- between the two besides the fact that I have never bought a music CD I have over 4 gigs of MP3s...) and internet radio, and HDD space limitations (remember, no burner nor do I really want one) something had to go and it did. Anime eps are the one thing I still try to find I guess... I don't watch movies or TV shows more than once usually so buying them would be stupid (even if I did have the money) and the rental stores only have small selections.

You get in trouble for sharing stuff on filesharing networks, not just having it on your HDD... don't share and you won't get in trouble for what you have, essentially. Why? Well that is probably part of it, and I don't approve of stealing in any other form, and I really did need to get rid of a lot of stuff to make room for all of those games I got this year... that alone would have required getting rid of a lot of stuff on my HDD... you don't install 20-plus gigs of games to nowhere. :)

On that note, PC games are getting irritatingly large. I don't like every game being 2, 3, 4 gigabytes... you can have so few on a harddrive without being forced to delete, which I REALLY hate to do...

As for emulators, some I still have... ones with legal roms (that is where the original developers have relased them into the public domain)... such as the Atari ST with some of Jeff Minter's games. Like the best version of Llamatron. :)

As for anime, I wouldn't really have to do that either if we actually got cable at home so I could watch it on TV and if I actually had a TV in my dorm room so I could watch it here too... :)

No... well if you spend all your money on burnable media (cd-rs and dvd-rs and stuff) and harddrives and never buy games then it's wrong, but if you spend a lot of money on games it's not as bad...

I can't actually use any of those...

I already have Kid Icarus and the size limit is 129 k, thanks to the GBA's amount of rom.

    But thanks anyhow!

That romfile should probably be removed, having it be available publically like that can't be a good idea for long...

Just because I said I would doesn't mean I actually will, stupid! This is Tendo City, where the only rule is that there aren't any rules... or that we're lazy or something... and ABF is dumb.
