I found an interesting website a while back (I wish I could remember the link) and it gave some very interesting information about the whole yatta deal. Basically, the real Japanese music video (not the flash animation) was a sort of satiracle thing done by a comedy goup. Think of them as the Japanese equivalent to Saturday Night Live. Anyway, they created an imaginary group called Happa-tai (Leaf Team) and the song called Yatta! (All right!). Here are the lyrics in Japanese and a rough translation following:
