That's pretty lame.
I had thought that RE2 and 3 would be handled like an old movie brought to DVD. Like in the Spaceballs DVD you have beautiful presentation with "in-jokes" all over the place. I would have smiled at the Playstation graphics if it would have had presentation value and loaded with options. (things they could have done but didn't because of time or money). But sadly, these are games that I will overlook completely until I can buy them used for 5 bucks.
The most obvious option here would have been secret modes and alternate games depending on what save game data you have from REmake and RE0. Imagine playing RE2 and having RE0's story mix in to it (since you beat the game and saved it on your card). Things like that.
Oh well, I guess i'll have to lower my expectations and just put up with RESIDENT EVIL FOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11!1!!1!
