Isn't the Phoenix awesome? It burns! :)

Here are more. From Minter's website where they all are FIRST... :)

    Missing one from that set.

These two of the Phoenix are from the 17th. I never posted them here though. :)

Oh, a comment with this last group... :)

Quote:(note to people picking these up who don't read forum) The words are just placeholder strings, silly, and arose out of a silly thread in forum - OF COURSE it's not going to say "arsebiscuits" or "otter spunk" in the final game! Jeez!

Awesome. It looks so, so cool... :)

Because he's pretty much a 1-man company (Llamasoft) whose workplace is his house? :)

So... he can't take screen captures of a game that he makes in his own house? You know, all you have to do is run the game and press Print Screen.

They are digital camera images off a TV screen to be precise. Straight from the game and to his website... and he posts them when he feels like it obviously which is why it's a few every so often... :) I'm sure he has a reason.

    And anyway they look great...

i think the game would be better if they left in the words "arsebisquit" and "otter spunk."

although i've never played it so i cannot back up that claim with experience.

but if there's one thing i have learned from experience it's that things tend to be better the more arsebisquits and otter spunk they contain.

It's stupid and pointless to complain when what we have is okay... oh sure it'd be nice to see some clear shots, but would it really show off the game in a dramatically different light? Nope! So why bother? Who cares, really?

It's not low standards. Of course if I had the choice I'd choose the best looking option, and I do when I can make that choice. But when this is what is here? Why should I complain much? it's pointless!

Of course it would look ten times better if it were direct-feed! Jeez, you really are blind if you can't tell the difference between polaroid pictures of a tv screen and direct-feed shots!

Blizzard is a huge developer. I would hold them to a higher standard... but if they did it'd not be the end of the world because screenshots only show so much about a game, you know...

Hey guess what? I can take direct feed screen caps from my game by running it and pressing the "print screen" button! It's that easy, doofus! It has nothing to do with the size of the developer.

Perhaps he is doing it just to be different and attract the attention of monkeys who have enough time to devote to an in-depth dissection of his capture methods...
