I don't know about that... I'd think people (well people who go to the forums, who are all I think of when I think of "people" at Nintendorks) would think of forum members too... I'm hardly a big member of that forum like I am here of course, though. 500 posts there versus many thousands since then here. But there are a lot less good threads there and a lot fewer that continue to be good...

Hey you know that exploding whale story I posted here? Well I sent the link to the DRCs and it got posted, and so because of me lots of people heard about it, and here's one such story from today's DRC:

You know after eating lunch with my students (I'm a teacher at an elementary school) I had the worst diarrhea and had to cut class short to use the little boys room. So while I'm sitting there peppering the toilet bowl, I think of the 50 odd ton whale that blew up on the flat bed and start laughing to myself while shitting.

Then the toilet next to me flushed.

What kind of asshole doesn't make some sorta noise to let the other person in the bathroom know that they are there? You know what I mean? Now they think I was laughing at my ass piss, which obviously was funny as hell too, but that's besides the point.

You know, what if the beached whale had a big meal in the ocean then got a stomachache and had to chill for a few hours on the beach? I bet the reason he blew up was because he couldn't blow a fart cause he was embarrassed someone would hear him. Just like I might have been......

So do I sorta owe my life to the silent pooper who was in the stall next to me? Maybe if he hadn't stayed quiet I would have blown up as well. - fatwreck

Haha, I felt real proud when I read that bathroom story. I posted the link about the exploding whale and because of it that teacher laughed while pooping in the school bathroom. It's things like this that make life worth living.
You know, I'll probably laugh about his story when I'm in the bathroom at my college, so it'll be this one giant circle of DRC-induced pooper laughter. - OB1

Those are NOT FF7 pics! I have the article in Nintendo Power with those very pics. It was a showcase for Square's 3D rendering but it wasn't using FF7 characters. It was a rendering of FF6 characters. Look at those pics. There's Locke, Shadow, and TERRA! Yes, I know her hair is blonde, but it's also blonde in the original artwork Terra is based on (and the PS1 version FMVs). Also, it's JUST the characters. The background is just this white grid of a floor and black space. However, these simplistic models did end up being used. They are in the FF6 PS1 instruction booklet.

Either way (I don't know), it is Square on N64. Square on N64 is the point here, not FFVII in specific...

Most of yours are somewhat humorous, but the ones I linked are just way better... and as for funny, go look at them again -- plenty are funny. A few aren't especially funny, but the ones that are are at least as funny as yours, probably more... but mine are a lot more intresting. All of them are more interesting than any of yours.
