Do any of you play PSO?

Cause I've been looking for someone to play with late at night. I doubt any of you do, but if so let me know.

I occasionally play PSO (as in the original for Dreamcast)... would the two versions be compatible?

Also, be warned that my character is on a pitifully small level (circa 17? I can't even remember). I'll get back to you on this when I go back home this weekend.

I thought Sega closed down PSO's Dreamcast servers.

I think they shut down the free ones, but I don't know about the v2 pay ones...

The last time I played on Dreamcast's servers was no longer than a month or so ago. So unless they shut them down very recently, then no, they're still up. You'd think they would shut them down, but I guess they didn't want to rip off the owners of the original PSO when they started charging for PSOv2.

I thought they were shut down last fall... the free PSO on DC anyway.-
