Don't get EGM myself, nor do I have any idea what "arcade thingy" you mean. Then again, I must assume that if I have no idea what you are talking about, you weren't addressing me. :D

It wasn't that, it was actually a place that sold arcade machinesto the general public, such as PC boards, and entire arcade units, and they featured one company that sold all of the arcade games you could think of in one arcade unit and I'm trying to remember the piece, but I can't, so anyone with info on it, please give it to me, much obliged.

It was approximately within this past year. The reason I bring this up is because for a graduation present, I think I might get one, and a vacation! Woohoo! :D But I need to make sure it's the right one.

Alright, I'm still looking for it and haven't found anything yet, but the most recent EGM has a preview for next month and says that the November issue will feature a whole "build your own classic arcade unit" article.

Not quite what I was asking for, but I remember it in more detail. It was one of the small articles that highlighted a company that was selling a standup arcade cabinet with thousands of arcades games in it with a SF-style button layout since it is convenient for most arcade games and your choice of either a 19" or 25" monitor. I believe it used MAME to emulate the games, but it wasn't an X-Arcade cabinet (http://www.x-arcade.com). I remember this particular company being spotlighted in EGM, which is why I asked for people with old EGMs to look in thier stashes. Thanks OB1 for looking though, but I can find plenty of the "Build your own classic arcade game" articles on here (in fact, Tech TV did one not too long ago on the Tech TV channel for a MAME Cocktail table).
