Game Cube Users Try This!

1. Hold START+Z BUTTON while the cube is starting up.
   
2. Hold START+Z BUTTON on all four possible controlers while the cube is starting up.
   

Changes the "Game Cube", startup sound to other things.

Yeah, I just found out about this last week (on the Gamefaqs forums), it's awesome... especially the all four controllers one. I mean, the one controller one is funny, but the four one is just plain awesome. :)

I've known about this since launch. Since I got my GameCube before I got any games for it I played with the controllers and startup menu for half-an-hour. Yeah, that was slightly depressing until I figured out that little trick.

You bought four controllers at launch?

No, I bought two, but my friend bought a GameCube at launch with two controllers as well and we both went to my house afterwards to kick ourselves for buying the GameCubes at K-Mart. This was right before K-Mart went into bankruptcy and they had no games for sale so we had to wait until the morning to get games somewhere else.

I never knew... and I only have two controllers for my Gamecube, so I can't do the all-four one. I should try the one controller one though.
