Haha, but I still didn't win a match. That was a lot of fun, though, and most of the races were really close. I have a lot of free time this week so anytime either of you guys want to play let me know.

Okay, well I'm free tomorrow. I work until 8 but anytime after that is fine. Shall we set a time?

BTW, I don't know if you use MSN Messenger, but GR, DJ, and I usually chat with each other through MSN while we're racing. It lets us talk between races and suggest which tracks. Once, GR and I decided to spend a whole match just goofing off. We drove through Choco Mountain in reverse, hovered around the Item boxes and repeatedly pelted each other with items in Baby Park, and hit the boosters in Wario Stadium going backwards which creates a great SCREECH! But I digress. If you do use MSN, sign on and join us. Since there's no voice chat, it adds to the fun when you can smack talk in real time :D

I don't use MSN. I've tried to find a decent multi-client program, but I haven't found anything that's as good as what I use for AIM. I might download it just so for this, though. :) I won't be around until around 9:30 since I play basketball tonight, but anytime after that is fine.

Trillian is a pretty good multi-client chat program.

Okay, we'll make it around 10.

GR's right, Trillian is a good all-purpose chat program. I prefer just plain old MSN, but you might like Trillian if you use AIM most of the time.

I don't think they have Trillian for OS X yet, but there are a lot of multi-client programs out there, although not enough of them include the option to have real names displayed instead of usernames as well as voice chat, which are the two options I need the most. I just downloaded Messenger, though, and my email address derekmiller@mac.com is my username so I should be on tonight.

MSN Messenger has the username and email seperate, and the account/friendslist is based on the email, so you can change your username whenever you want... I'd say that MSN is definitely better than AIM. I like the feature that it has where it only makes a sound if a message is sent to a window in the background, and not in a message window currently selected... I think it has looks nicer and has a better interface (and an easier to use friendslist window, just click and drag to move people), and I like the option to automatically save chatlogs... AIM doesn't have any of that... does AIM even have the ability to save your chat color choice? It's usable, but not there features-wise... odd that Microsoft has the best application, though, given that that's not true for other things (IE, Word, etc)...

Well, the problem is all of my friends are on AIM so I don't really have a choice in the matter. I don't use the main AIM client, though, I use iChat so it is a much better program than AIM.

The people I know in person pretty much all use AIM, but most all people from TC use MSN, so I just use both...

So Trillian isn't out for OSX?

Well, that sucks. You see, that's the main issue. There are just too many program incompatibilities for me to just suddenly switch.

Keep in mind I have an Apple computer in my closet. It's a G4! A G4 that's over 6 years old mind you.

I didn't want to start a new thread and this just seemed the only fitting place to post this gem from The Onion:

Yes, of course Red Shells are better. And Blue Shells are better than both. It still doesn't change the fact that, properly used, a Green Shell can be just as dangerous.
