It's a parody of a supposed My Space suicide note. Except with Bill Nye instead of some random emo kid.

Which is why I added "supposed" to the sentence. Anyway, the original is on YTMND somewhere, unless it's been taken down.

    That's.... disturbing...

Why would someone who has given up on life want to be remembered though?

I still don't get the Nye thing. He didn't tell anyone he was going to kill himself.

Attention. And anyway, his MySpace site shows that he showed up two days after he supposedly "died".

    It's a PARODY. Which I mentioned before.

Not a very good one if it doesn't make sense. You can't just slap "parody" on something to excuse it of that.

You know what would be cool? Mario AND DK, the ultimate team, vs Bowser and K.Rool, the not so ultimate team.

Well, is Bill supposed to be threatening to kill himself or what? It's not very apparent.

Because he's so fucking emo. He doesn't want to actually kill himself, he just wants the attention.

Yeah, y'all gotta be hip to these new social labels. The terms "geek" and "greaser" and "freak" and "jock" are nearly extinct. Now that everyone answers to music for a higher purpose (instead of, yunno, religion), it's more efficient to dice people up into categories based on what awful new music they listen to. That is, until they're so ingrained into our social psyche that, generations from now, the newly evolved individuals will look at them and laugh. Video games will have overshadowed movies and music in terms of interactive entertainment.

Emokid, by what I can gather of today's standards, is an emotionally sensitive individual that likes enjoys music (and to a lesser extent, movies and books) that make him/her cry. They're attention whores and drama queens. Us cool kids call them "emofags" to intertwine a little ambiguous homophobia into the equation and confuse even more onlookers.

    That's what I can gather...

Here's the thing. The bias against being "emo" is apparently so strong that people just can't be introverted loner types any more... So, those that actually hide from people at school are likely targetted even more, despite the utter dislike of attention.

From what I've seen at YTMND, anyone even the slightest bit of an emotional sort is to be hated, beaten perhaps, for being so weak.

Yeah that's the ironic thing. I probably fall into the definition of emo in some ways. I'm the introverted loner type. Oh and I have emotions. I also like girls who wear those geek glasses and have piercings. And I even like certain emo bands. I just don't dress the part and since the whole emo thing is so superficial if you don't dress the part you're not part of the group. Kinda like goth.

I was a loner introverted type, but I didn't dislike attention. I was, after all, the youngest child. I was pegged as a weird kid, though, and people pretty much left me alone after 9th-10th grade. Everyone finally mellowed the fuck out Junior year.

I'm pretty much like that, but I don't like many emo bands because the voice of the singer is so whiney. Like that Fallout Boy shit.

Yeah I've seen advertisements for that thing. Still, I have a better idea that won't take so much work. Put the NES in the closet. Don't worry about the wires, just disconnect the lot of them and stuff the NES somewheres.

    Works like a charm.
