This one's so good it deserves it's own thread. :p

I laughed long and hard. I think it's the music that does it to me.

But, couldn't Kerry have done that without being President?

No wait, he appears to be a ghost buster. I suppose the only way to get the funding would be to actually BE the president...

Yeah, only the president would have the money necessary to buy all the power bars and power shakes that Kerry would need to use his super hurricane-stopping powers!

But that's the Ghost Busters stuff! That's just powered by some sort of nuclear battery pack, not Kerry himself!

In the end, Kerry was unable to stop hurricane Katrina, but he did manage to pull off a deal to keep Iran from getting nuclear weapons [at least for 10-15 years, anyway].

Yeah, it's fantastic that the nuclear deal happened! A nuclear-armed Iran has been inevitable for a decade or more, if they wanted to build a nuke... but economic pressure from sanctions finally overwhelmed their desire for nuclear weapons, which was honestly a surprising thing to see happen after so many years of determination to build nukes, but it sure was nice to see. Here's hoping that the deal holds up, the Republicans in congress fail to mess with it, and we start nudging Iran towards being less horrible (their support for Hezbollah and other terrorist groups, etc.)... it would be a big deal if that could happen. Probably won't, but this at least makes it somewhat plausible to think about.

Yeah, it's a good thing even if temporary.
