    HL2 is a PC game, though, and PCs have quite definitely surpassed the current consoles, so that's not quite a fair comparison... :)

    We still named 3 other games that are good example of what this generation can do.

    RE4 is easily as visually impressive as HL2 is, so you are wrong about that ABF.

    In some ways it looks like it is, but not in all... (most importantly, the display. Even HDTV doesn't match up to a computer monitor.)

    So you're talking about display devices now? Hah, well I can assure you that RE4 looks just as good on my tv as HL2 does on my computer. And I have a pretty nice computer with a terrific monitor.

    There are things that it's impossible for it to match, though, like resolution.

    Sure it does. And that should say something about RE4's graphics, that at its lower resolution it can stand up to HL2.
