American Dad is a hilarious show, like Family Guy. And to all the people that say "But it's the same thing as Family Guy!" I say "Isn't that a good thing?"

I don't understand why American Dad has gotten so much criticism. I thoroughly enjoyed the pilot episode. It's not as good as Family Guy, but a person's second creation is never as good as their first. The only reason I think The Simpsons should be canned and its timeslot replaced with new episodes of Futurama is because The Simpsons is old and stale whereas Futurama is fresh and original.

Still, I look forward to the new Family Guys and American Dads. :D

I agree, I liked the pilot. It reminded me a lot of Family Guy, but in a good way. It was more of the same, but I didn't mind. Hopefully, it can coexist with Arrested Development.
