Looks even better than SotN! Too bad it's not out until next fall... :(

Yeah, it looks pretty good. Not much use of the touchscreen, but finding uses for a touchscreen in an action game is harder.

If you shrink some of the screens down to the actual DS screen size, it's a very impressive-looking 2D game. More impressive than SotN, easily.

Real 2-D! Kick ass! I love hand drawn games!

It looks like the magic attacks use the touch screen, I wonder how that works...

It's probably as hand-drawn as any 3d game... if we're going to get technical about it. :D

Did you miss the bottom of the 2nd screenshot? The one that says: "When the Magic Seal sphere appears on your screen, reach for your stylus. Then pay close attention to the stroke order, because you'll have to correctly draw the shape in order to beat the boss." ?

Just curious, because that was my impression at first, but it looks like Konami won't entirely disappoint with the touch screen. Although the part about using the 2nd screen as a map isn't all that innovative, what I will say is that it'll be a lot more convenient than switching screens all the time.

Yeah, that's one small use of the touchscreen that you only use when you've finished fighting the boss normally. Not something you will use very much...

There will probably be more than that.

Still, it's more inventive than what Nintendo came up with for Mario 64 DS. Aside from the mini-games.

The article says that that's it for touchscreen use. I was saying I hope it ends up with more.
