I saw a commercial for the awards show. When I saw all the "artists" that were going to perform, I figured it'd suck, and all the awards would go to crappy/mediocre games while the best aren't even nominated.

There's really no good way to do a video game awards show right now. Celebrities that don't play videogames/have nothing to do with videogames should not be hosting them, but neither should video game dorks like us (or every single gaming editor out there).
