Oh, and even if they DO make an Earthbound 3, at this point I'd be surprised if we ever see it. Think Magical Vacation.

I have Earthbound on the SNES so I'm content. Actually, I'm not because I'd really like Mother 3. Like RIGHT NOW.

I'd put the chances for either at low... I have no idea why Nintendo won't release EB1/2, as they are certainly translated and would be really easy to bring over, but given that they've done that and don't show any signs of changing that opinion... it's stupid and strange but Nintendo doesn't change a position easily once they've made it.

One thing to keep in mind is, from all the reviews of Mother 1&2 I've read, Mother 2 suffers from inferior sound. I never really found out HOW inferior mind you, but if it was knocked down to NES quality they may have wanted to actually boost the sound quality back up to it's original before releasing it here and then, they had to focus on other projects and well, time makes fools of us all. You know, something like that...

But the ACTUAL reality is they just hate us :D.

Really though, I played that game obessivly long ago but alas never owned it, only rented... over and over the same cart...

So as such, I search the land over for a used copy of the game in some pawn shop.

Hmm, remember when Mother 3 was going to be an N64 game?

Now it's a 2D GBA game. HOWEVER, does it have ANYTHING to do with the original Mother 3? If it doesn't at all, I STILL really want it. My point is if it's totally different, they could reincarnate the old Mother 3 project as Mother 4 for the DS. They WERE very close to being finished.
