    Most Cube games are doing worse than they should, really... it's sad... but it is great to see how incredible the GBA is doing. And over a million copies of Poke-rehash... goes to show that you don't have to spend much money to print it!

    Especially since Fire Red and Leaf Green are, for the most part, the exact same games as the Red and Blue Versions that were released six years ago. (Not that Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, and Sapphire were a whole lot different.) But seriously, I thought the Pokémon fad was over for the most part. I guess that just applies to the crappy anime, the toys, the cards, etc., but the games are still selling strong.

    It reminds me of the days when I owned a GBC , How many hours did I spend just sitting there training my pokemon and duking it out agiast enemies who could truly never kill you. Pokemon was probaily one of the last narcotic games I played.

    Why did I buy yugi'OH cards why did I buy Pokemon cards? They are just pieces of papper sold at 15 bucks a pop and even higher when they craze was at its peak.Reminds me of Pogs! Which I am glad died and I didnt waste my money on to much.

    I would have wanted to play the sopposed game , But who knew how to play it? I even had one of my cards stolen ," Vileplume". I remeber a kid somewhere got his eye knifed out because he stole a pokemon card the kid who owned it wanted revenge.

    The Pokemon craze was incredible I even heard about a burgulary were someone broke into a house just to steal the cards.

    Pogs... stupid things, they cost quite a bit and then totally died. I didn't get many, but the few I have are still stupid. :)

    As for Pokemon... yeah, this definitely proves that Poke-mania hasn't totally faded away. Not with sales numbers like THAT! I also thought it had died somewhat, but clearly not by much... and Poke-fans probably are thrilled with the fact that it's a minutely changed remake. After all, it's probably about as much change to the series as you get in the average Poke-"sequel"...

    We used to play pogs at school, but then the teachers made us stop. Something about "gambling" in schools or some such nonsense.

    Really, just slap all those color versions of each of the 3 main games (color, metal, and gem) into 3 collapsed games with a lot of save files (and the ability to trade between save files) and leave it at that.

    Really, each "main" game has had at least one remake after it. The first had the largest number of course. Red and Blue, then Green, then Yellow, then Fire and Leaf.

    What game has had more remakes?

    The answer is still Street Fighter 2. (Street Figher 2, Champion Edition, Turbo, Super, Super Turbo, and now Hyper.) When they manage to outdo that, THEN I'll be terrified.

    In another topic, I FINALLY found out that there really IS a Street Figher 1! The rumors are true :D. It apparently never came out on SNES or Genesis, but then again, the first one never got remakes because it just plain sucked. You have Ryu, that's it, unless you were in two player, then the second guy gets the clone named Ken. It's hard, but in a bad way. Anyway, I found it in an arcade, had my fill, and decided Capcom screwed up with the first fighter EVER (no, Kung-Fu doesn't count at all, not really), and that's probably why they are pretending it never happened or something.
