Are they really making a B~K sequel for X-Box 2? That's so god damned awesome... and so god damned depressing, too. :( I'll sooner get an X-Box than an XB2. Why the hell couldn't they release a B~K sequel for that?!
Back to Mario Kart DS: the ugly graphics and lack of interesting idea for the 2nd screen make it very boring, imo. I won't get that. I'd rather have Mario Kart 64, which I don't. :( That 2nd screen is disappointing, though... ooh, an overhead map and full ranking of characters can now be seen on their very own screen!
Unless there's some feature they aren't showing in that screenshots, I'm disappointed. Although this game *will* have Wi-Fi multiplayer, won't it? I think that's the only thing it has going for it, and it's not much when it's for an expensive game system that none of my friends will have.
Well some of those screens are actually tracks from the original MK, hence the simple backgrounds. The E3 screens showed MK DD tracks.
And the next BK will be coming out for the XB2 instead of the XB because Rare takes forever to make their games. :) PD Zero was originally headed for the GC, then the X-Box, and now the XB2. :D
The next BK hasn't been officially confirmed, but Rare has been hinting at it ever since the MS aquisition (as well as showing Banjo in that Rare-MS video). And MS wants Rare's big franchises on the XB and XB2 so you do the math...
