Mario Tennis gets October release in Japan

Nintendo will release the GameCube tennis game Mario Tennis in Japan in October 2004, the developer Camelot is planning to reveal new details of the game sometimes next week.

It looks like we'll probably get MT sometime in early '05.

Nintendo really needs to release it in the U.S. this year since two of their big holiday games have been delayed to '05.

Yeah, they do. I think it's unlikely that the two releases will be that close together, though.

But it's just a Tennis game. They were able to release OoT in the U.S. just three days after the Japanese release.
