Ken "traitor" Lobb speaks

IGN has an insider-only video interview with Ken Lobb up, and here's a brief summary of some of the more important stuff (at least to me) he talked about:

-Perfect Dark Zero looks amazing

-The multiplayer portion of Conker is the main feature, but the "extra" that is the port of BFD is the most amazing-looking X-Box game Lobb has seen and that the "jillions" of blades of grass swaying in the wind are a sight to behold. Very promising, eh? I thought it was just going to be a straight port.

-Rallisport Challenge 2 is incredible

-Fable is almost done and will be out "this summer"

-Working for MS now is like how it was like working at Nintendo back in the day

-He pronounced "niche" like "nichee"

-There are currently over 750,000 X-Box Live subscribers. That's subscribers, not just people who got the two months free. That is pretty damn good.

Unless they added a ton of multiplayer modes I don't see much of a reason to get it, but I admit I am intrigued by his comments about the graphics.

Big Blue Box said recently that it'll most likely be out by summer but that they don't want to give a definite date just yet. So it looks like it will be done very soon, but perhaps MS might want to release it at another date. Who knows.

I like the Klobb! It's a neato little gun. It certainly isn't worse than the PP7 or DD4 Destrovei (sp?), although it does pale in comparison to the 9mm.

Yea, the Dostovei was a powerful gun---well, not really, but two were good (which you frequently wound up with in most Soviet-New Russian themed levels. The Klobb was usually a solo gun, and as such it was pathetic.

Yeah fuckhead, but on the level of the surface, you get dual Klobbs and have to switch to them sometimes to follow the way of the ninja and flip out and kill thousands of guys in a manner of minutes.

Heathens, all of you! It had its perks over the KF7 Soviet... especially in, as I mentioned before, the Surface level. If you play it on 00 Agent, you'll find yourself running out of ammo for both guns (KF7 and Klobb), so you'll have to switch between the two often.
