3 Rare games by the end of the year?

Rare mentioned they will release at least three new Xbox titles in US by December 2004, the three game titles will also appear on GameBoy Advance.

Unless they get delayed that is.

I'm thinking that one of them will probably by Kameo, another could be the Conkers remake, but what about the other one?

Wait, wouldn't that be six new games? Three for X-Box, three for GBA... or maybe they meant the GBA will get portable versions of those games, but then that would mean that there'd have to be a GBA version of Conker and Kameo and an X-Box version of Sabrewulf. So the three games would be Kamoe, Conker, and Sabrewulf.

And I thought Conker was basically just a straight port with an added multiplayer mode.

I think it may be just a straight port, anyway, I think it does mean GBA versions of the three games. That wouldn't necessarily mean that the Xbox would get a version of Sabre Wolf though, or that the GBA will only get three GBA games.

That's the truth :D. Anyway, I'm looking forward to Sabre Wolf actually. It seemed like an interesting sort of game back when I first heard of it, and it still does.

I had heard that the Conker remake was a full remake of the graphics as well as a few extra things, but maybe I heard wrong.

I meant the version that is going to be on the Xbox is probably a STRAIGHT-PORT of the N64 version [with a few added features].

Conker is crap ! Both the cute and sick sexual maniac versions.

They should look into making a space sim or somthing, Kind of a Starfox clone with aliens and shit.

Rare needs too deliver somthing good or their future and all respect and reputations will be tarnished and they may become the 989 sleeze of the xbox.

Probably the only big game they have coming up is PD0 and they've already said it's not coming out before 2006.

Thing is, a lot of the cool things they could do with the hard drive they can't if MS makes the mistake of not putting it in the next system. I mean, designing one's own levels without having to consider memory card size restrictions, using photos transferred from PC (seriously, one of my X-mas presents was a thing that lets me transfer photos and music from my computer to da box, though honestly the music is a little superfluous when I can just put the CD in there anyway) so you can even get a perfect head made at long last, and custom music (Halo is made of idiots for having NO music at all in multi, and no custom music option either). Also, downloadable content for PD0. It's certain to be Rare's big game, so you know they'd add every last feature they can cram in.

Really, MS better figure out how to keep that hard drive or they can consider themselves sunk. They could go ahead and keep it the small one they have in the XBox, but make it removable so it can be upgraded to larger ones they will sell seperatly. They need to make it removable anyway, so might as well just do that.

Call me crazy but I wouldn't bet my life on Rare doing three games in a single year.

Come to think of it, did they even make ONE last year?

Well, there was Grabbed by the Ghoulies, if you count that... I suppose it was a fun beat em up for kids, and don't get me wrong I don't just mean the theme, I'm talking challenge and depth too. A Battletoads level game (also obviously for kids in theme, but challenging) would have been a better choice.

DJ, I think MS's plan (given what we've learned) is to replace the HDD with large media cards of some kind... far larger than the current memory cards, obviously. But how big we don't know...

Oh, and I too think that even 3 games in a year from Rare sounds doubtful... that only seems possible since those GBA games have taken SO long that they probably are nearly finished... :)

Yeah, I'm doubtful of three games coming out this year, too. Unless MS isn't too happy about their performance so far and is forcing them to finish the games this year.
