Oh yes! Even better! A dirty great ax convinces others even more!

GR, what other thing could possibly convince everyone so well?

They had a kamehameha in Aqua Teen?

Ah yes, the rule of all fighting! If a move takes forever to prepair, the bad guy always gives them time TO prepair!

Second rule is NEVER take unintended time given to you to prepair until AFTER you think for a while about having this time and explaining that you have it and will start using it any second now!

That does look like a blue sun! Is that some infrared or ultraviolate image of it, converted into the blue wavelength so we could actually see it?

Sadly, my avatar based comic is something I'll have to kill. I accelerated it to the ultimate end of all universes, for indeed, our universe isn't slowing down in it's expansion. IT"S SPEEDING UP! This comic sucks because it ended in a wimper, and because it's not funny...

No, but several of the lines I used are from Aqua Team.

You see, my kind of comedy is the comedy aimed at an audience. I think "if we were actually a TV show, what could I do that while not making anyone HERE laugh, would make a watcher laugh?".

That doesn't explain the above comic at all though... But, these CAT scans should do the trick!

When the final frame is the end of a universe, the ultimate spread outitude of nothingness that means no time, well, it can't be more lacking than that can it?

Fortunatly, Laser Link and I managed to escape before the whole thing collapsed.

But I don't like coke, or pepsi! I just don't like the Dark Colas and their EVIL plans for universal rule! Well, actually it's just odd that all the flavors of soda I don't like (root beer, pepsi/coke... that's actually about it...) happen to be dark. But it makes it easy to lump them together anyway. I prefer fruity sodas like orange and grape, and the clear ones like 7-up and Sprite. No, not crystal pepsi, even though I know this comic book guy who's got some.

And when I said good backgrounds, I meant ones that don't look like you just used the paint bucket tool in MS Paint to make them. :p :shakeit:

I use Paint Shop Pro 7 to edit the sprites (color, expressions, etc.), to cut out the background, to place the sprites in the scene, and to also make the panel cells of the comic. I use Macromedia Flash MX for the talk bubbles, and once in a while I may use Photoshop 7 to do an effect I can't do with the other two applications. The second comic I made is a result of 3 hours of work. It was definitely worth the effort though.

3 hours? Heh, mine only take about 20-30 minutes. The first comic I did only took about an hour. :D

I uses Corel Draw 7 do the original image [importing images, creating backgrounds, speech bubbles] then when everything is put together I save the image. Then I load the image into Corel Photo-Paint where I resample the image to about 700X467. I check to make sure everything is ok and make edits in Corel Draw where needed then I save it as a JPEG.

For the past hour I have been scouring the internet looking for suitable pictures to use in making a new format for my comic. My work has left me with four possible formats.

I think "D" is the best of the bunch.

That took forever... I had to draw those stupid black borders around four different frames of those characters to make them very visible with this backdrop. Annoying and time-consuming...

    How about white backgrounds? :D

No he doesn't. It's a fictional comic that'll slowly resemble reality less and less, just as it should!

You just need to use word bubbles better. I couldn't tell if the sign was changing or if someone yelled that out to Robin Hood.

ABF, your comic was sort of funny, but no very well constructed. Work on that and it'll make a big difference.

That changing sign had "Monkey Island" written all over it. :D

Huh? But it says "sign" on the sign! How much clearer could I be?

... add a black line around the white box that is the sign? Yeah, I thought of that, but it'd be a little bit harder to do so I didn't. :D

And yes, the changing sign joke is funny. I am pretty sure I've also seen it in Looney Tunes... that's what I was thinking of, actually, but MI is fine too. :)

Oh, and what exactly should i do for actual word bubbles... white blocks would have covered most of the picture! Oh well...
