Again, I'm stuck in the situation of having too many "must-buys" during the last 4+ months of the year.

Somehow, I have to choose 4 games out of:


F-Zero GX
Soul Calibre II
Viewtiful Joe
Mario Kart: Double Dash
Pikmin 2
Rebel Strike
Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes
Prince of Persia
Beyond Good and Evil

and that's after reluctantly ignoring PN03 and Billy Hatcher.

Balancing the genres, release dates, gameplay speed, and 3rd party/1st party issues is difficult. Every time I seem to find a nice balance, I notice that all of the games are made by Nintendo, or all of the games are fast-paced, or all the games are released before Thanksgiving. I can handle this frustration, Nintendo. Thank you for this problem, Nintendo.

Hmm, if I had to choose four out of those I'd choose F-Zero, Mario Kart DD (if they make it much faster than the E3 and bring back MK 64's improved sliding), Twin Snakes, and Rebel Strike. But I also really want those other games (especially Prince of Persia) so it'd be a tough choice. I'm gonna have to work over-time to be able to afford all of these great fall/winter games.

And BTW I've heard that PN 03 isn't that great,

For Cube... I really want F-Zero GX and Rebel Strike. And the already-out games Ikaruga and Skies of Arcadia Legends. There are lots of other games I'd like to have, of course, but those are on top of the list.

I'd also love to get:

Beyond Good and Evil
Viewtiful Joe
Soul Calibur 2
1080

And for already-out games... plenty, but after those two I'd probably put Gauntlet Dark Legacy next. :)

Wow that's awesome...but not nearly as cool as when you go OoT for preordering WW. Still, thats an incentive to preorder a game I would be buying anyway...so I'm sold.

Hopefully because of the RS3 and Wind Waker preorder campaigns other companies will start following suit. Getting free stuff for preordering is definitely a good thing.

IGN asked Miyamoto about that possibility a while back and he said that he'd take their suggestion under consideration, so I'm sure it'll happen.
