there's a new trailer for this game at IGN and it looks wicked sweet. this is now probably my most anticipated GC game.

i suggest you all check it out, but i'm too lazy to post a link, so you'll have to do it the old fashioned way.

    :p

Between this, Baten Kaitos, Final Fantasy: CC, and Giftpia, it's a good time for RPG lovers.

If those others ever get a US release date, that is. I'm really looking forward to Symphonia. I really liked Tales of Destiny 2.

Yeah, the Cube isn't the best RPG platform but unlike the N64 it is doing okay. There is a decent selection of them out and upcoming... which is very nice. A welcome change from the N64 and its one great RPG.

FF: CC has a US release date. Giftpia will definitely be realeased over here. And Baten Kaitos...well you can always import, but it might be released over here.

Yeah great idea, import a text-heavy RPG. I'll just play it with a Japanese-to-English dictionary. :p

And I was referring to Kaitos and Symphonia.

I'm pretty sure Namco confirmed that Symphonia would be released over here.

I want Symphonia too. Great series. Almost as good as Star Ocean.

I don't think there's been a real confirmation for Tales yet, GR. But I would love to be proven wrong.

    ToD2 is a LOT harder than ToD1.

I'm not entirely convinced of that... I liked the first game's style more. But the second's art is spectacular.

The voice work in ToD 2 is atrocious, though.

Dengeki or whatever it's called reviewed this game and gave it 2 tens and 2 nines saying that it's so good, it's worth picking up a gamecube for, and that it's everything an RPG should be.

If it's an RPG and it's on the Gamecube I'm definitely going to get it.
