Hey it looks like Nintendo is finally beefing up their advertising. In the past two days I've seen three different Gamecube commercials for games that are coming out this fall; one for Rebel Strike, one for F-Zero GX, and one for some Wrestling game. It's great to see Gamecube ads this frequently (and I don't even watch that much tv), but it's even greater to see them hyping up games a few months before their release like Sony and MS do.

Wait, wait? THREE ads in two days? Is this a sign of the apocalypse or something?

    And were the ads DECENT?

I've heard, but I haven't seen them. Plus, 3 in two days is pretty much the standard rate. However, advertising games this long before they come out? That's a GOOD step I must say. This is as opposed to advertising games only 2 weeks AFTER they come out.

    And they're 100% in-game footage, if I remember correctly.

Huh... I'd say that's a good thing... its annoying how so many ads are almost all live-action or CG...

Now did they use the GameCube logo with the cube dropping into the picture to complete the logo, or that cooler one they used to introduce the previews in the OoT Disk?

Doesn't really matter if you ask me. Both look pretty cool to me.

The dropping cube... personally, I think the one in the demos that came with OoT looks cooler.

They're solid commercials. Basically just 15 or 30 seconds of in-game footage with some voice over stuff. And yes they use the new, cooler Gamecube dropping logo.

That's good. No more idiotic stuff like the Sunshine ads?

I just saw the F-Zero and the Wrestling ads...yea, they are pretty cool. Dare I even say innovative. The F-Zero one may've sold me on the game! I long to see the Rogue Leader ad too.
