Blood and ashes (guess what I've been reading lately)! It's bison! Haven't any of you ever been to Yellowstone? I don't really care, but they are called bison. Buffalos are water buffalos.

Everyone's got a water buffalo. Yours is fast but mine is slow. Oh, where do we get them? I don't know. But everyone's got a water buffalooOOOOOOOOOOOO!

You can't be right. And do you know why that is? Becuase I say that it is 'buffalo". And if I say that it is buffalo it must be right, because I'm NEVER wrong. Ever. Not once. Arguementation is futile. You cannot win against my supreme rightness...Yeah, that's right. Not ever.....oh yeah: :shake:

Scientific names are stupid! They're all in some kind of wacky moon-man language! Like feline. And canine. What the heck does that mean?! It doesn't not even begin to make no sense!

If you want to be enjoy being wrong, I guess you can. :) The real name is bison, but people call them buffalo. Just like we call people Indians. If you don't believe me, search for it and you'll find every website says something like "Bison, commonly though incorrectly called buffalo..."

I know being wrong is just going to eat at you for a long time.

It doesn't matter if Bison is the correct term because nobody calls them that! Just like saying "a box of legos" isn't correct (it's supposed to be "a box of lego"), but nobody gives a damn because it sounds stupid.

Yeah, that's the correct way to say it. But nobody says it that way, now do they? Same thing with Buffalo.

And that Indian example was a poor one because saying "Indian" is such too vague. You always have to ask "which Indian?".

I have never heard anyone call or refer to a box of legos as a box of lego. Nice try, but... NO.

And yeah it sort of is like Indian ("Native American") or maybe Eskimo ("Inuit"). People say one thing a lot, but that doesn't make it any less wrong.

I would like to take the opportunity to interrupt the current argument to remind everyone involved that it began because of "German Schiezer Buffalo Porn" in the forum's title.

So with that in mind, consider how important the argument really is before you all continue it.

It doesn't matter if you've never heard anyone say it that way because it's still the truth. And you said that just because everyone says one thing doesn't mean that it's right, so you better start saying "a box of lego" or else you're going to be a hypocrite.

I'd never believe something as strange as that without proof.

As for this "debate", it in no way is a debate, that's for sure. Because there is no issue to debate...

You just read that off of Penny Arcade OB1 :D.

Legos, it is NOW officially the plural form, now and forever, because that's the common usage, forever! Yes yes!

*blows up 3 or 4 planets*

    Yes yes?

Well I already knew about it but used that specific example in this debate because of PA.

I do think that saying "a box of lego" sounds stupid, but ABF said that just because something is commonly said doesn't make it right, even though he says "legos".
