After playing Melee for so long, I went back to play a few rounds of the original SSB. Aside from the novelty of fighting in Dream Land and Kongo Jungle, it was not a great game. It was at the time, but if they release this to Melee fans, they may be disappointed. Look back at the original SSB, dust off your cartirdge if you have it, and you'll see just how much Melee changed for the better.
No Smash Attacks, awful sound effects, very poorly rendered characters, sprites galore for items, and flat MIDI music. I think it would be cool to have a GBA SSB, but I think rather than a sraight port, they should try, if they have room on the cart, add a couple features to make it a bit more visually pleasing and add Smash Attacks.

The Earthworker Race has ended. Everybody wins.
