Remember Chibi-Robo and how heartfelt that game was?  How the game was about a little robot cleaning up a house, but what it ACTUALLY was about was a crumbling marriage and how that affected the whole family, and how through the game you eventually resolved their marriage issues and gave the daughter pretending to be a frog a voice?

Remember the two sequels that had NOTHING to do with that heartfelt premise?

Well, turns out the original developers had nothing to do with the sequels, but have everything to do with this kickstarter!

Will this be Mighty Number 9, or with this be Ritual of the Night?  Only time will tell.

I remember trying Chibi Robo for GC once.  I didn't last long before quitting in boredom, I don't get the appeal of that game at all...

Sorry it didn't click for you.  Well, let me explain why it clicked for me.  It's like playing a Pixar movie.  You know one of the ones that makes everyone cry in the first or last 10 minutes?

What about the gameplay is fun, though?  It seemed so tediously slow and boring, with no reward... stupid robot has like a 30 second battery life...

The mechanics of actually doing all those chores is pretty engaging, as is usually the case with Nintendo game controls.  The 30 second battery charge starts out frustrating, but quickly gets higher and higher as the game goes on.  I treat each day and it's tasks like levels and the time limit as a typical Super Mario Bros. style "time limit" put in place.  It's not for everyone, but I found it pretty engaging.  It helps that things switch up often enough to keep each day fresh.
