If it means a return to good Star Wars movies, then I'm all for it.

Or a Pixar-produced CG Star Wars movie.

There is a highly developed center of my brain dedicated to finding business connections that allow more properties in Kingdom Hearts and Smash Bros.

It tells me that Han Solo will fight along side Sora in the near future.

How do I feel about this? George Lucas is forced to let loose the reigns on a franchise he's run into the ground and Kingdom Hearts will have Mickey Mouse fighting Darth Vader! I feel great!

I don't know, Weltall... we'll see in 2015 when the first of what is likely to be many Disney Star Wars movies comes out. My hopes are not high, but who knows.

Oh, and one thing I've seen pointed out is that this means George Lucas just made $4 billion dollars, because he owned 100% of Lucasfilms. Also, Lucasarts was apparently 20% of Lucasfilms' value, impressively enough, even though all they do these days is license out the Star Wars name to games...

Yeah, George Lucas just made a ton of money today, although he did have a ton of money to begin with.

So all other arguments aside, this protects Disney from any Monkey Island related lawsuits.

... I expect Guybrush somewhere in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride now.

Ugh, that is something unpleasant to think about, isn't it.

I swore I already said that joke... I guess it was somewhere else.

I honestly don't mind that, except for the "all the princesses in one big pile" collection of binders and such. Leia is more like Mulan than, say, Snow White. Snow White being a protagonist that did absolutely nothing whatsoever aside from be a victim. Yeah, that happens a lot, but you can look at Cinderella and say she actually had to have the will to escape and show up to that prince. The most Snow White ever actually did was run away and later foolishly eat an apple. She sat out the final act.

You're right about Snow White, but she has the problem of coming from the worst source material, I'd say, of the Disney princesses... Disney improved things a bit versus the original version of that story, but still, she's pretty much useless. As you say, Cinderella does indeed do more. But both do reflect the original stories some, even though Disney of course rewrote them.
