Also, Double Fine was able to fund a new 2D point-and-click adventure game through Kickstarter.

Yeah, that was pretty amazing. They were asking for $400,000 and got $1.8 million in days? Wow. Really impressive. And we don't know anything about it either, other than that it'll be a traditional-style graphic adventure made by Tim Schaefer.
