This is what I've been catching on TV lately... Isn't this... er, illegal?

It's a sheriff directly using his position to promote a specific local company. That's really sketchy, if not completely illegal.

That would make the conflict of interest even worse! A government official should not use their position to directly market to a business. It'd be one thing if he was doing this just as a civilian, but he's clearly using his position AS a sheriff to promote the place.

Yea, DJ is right. This is fishy. I'm surprised there isn't a big fiasco over it. He's definitely abusing his office for personal gain.

Thanks for your enlightening contribution. The weird thing is the accents around here are hit and miss. Some people have clearly southern accents, some not at all.
