So much for that nation blocker...

I just means I'll have to rewrite my script to be more aggressive.
I'll just have to add redirects and fire!

    I'll work on it today!

My script is more aggressive now. The Firefox webdev tool bar, provided a workaround to my block, which I patched now.

    (hopefully)

Wouldn't it make more sense to just make it harder to register?

Thats what my script does, it blocks registration attempts.

Couldn't you just do something like require a question to be answered for registration? Something like: "Who was the creator of Mario?" and the register has to answer "Miyamoto." You can post that the answer on the home page for anyone who doesn't know. I had problems with bots on the forums I use for my classroom, and I added a question like that and haven't had a single bot since.

Yeah, that's what I meant... ban certain kinds of email addresses or something (like how NeoGAF doesn't allow webmail addresses), ask a question, etc.

I tried a security question which vBulletin supports. But I couldn't get it to work. [Image: frown.gif]

However I'm pleased to say my new security measures are working, there have been no new automated registrations.

Careful, as the only e-mail address I have IS a web mail address. I hate those kinds of bans. Who are they accusing me of being?

So anyway, I have to say "weight enhancement" is a very confusing sort of spam.
