    No, it isn't.

I need more than just one game to entice me into a console/handheld purchase.

Besides, I have the sneaky suspicion this is going to end up on the PS2 within a year.

I thought you were interested in getting one already.

What makes you think it'll be heading to PS2?

    wtf Silent Truck Driver?

Looks like fun though, possibly a kind of 'silent hill 1 redux' but with some new characters. The QTE where the nurses were stabbing looked awesome, I'd like to see more of that.

I think it's actually more of a Silent Hill Zero, happening before the first game.

And the raisin rtangs says its going be on PS2 is because it sure as hell aint gonna be on PS3. That, and the 4 people who own a PSP bought one because they had extra money laying around and probably wouldn't know what a Silent Hill is if it jumped up their ass and vomited a God.

There are a bunch of games both on PS2 and PSP, certainly, but some are actually PSP-exclusive... who knows about this one though.

I haven't heard anything yet, but in checking I find out both Grand Theft Auto PSP games and the first Lumines saw a PS2 release later on (with extras). I suppose it's a possibility, but considering a number of other games actually were exclusive to PSP (Like Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops and the 2 Metal Gear Acid games) I just don't know enough to say either way. I doubt they would announce it until the PSP version comes out, so I guess I'll wait a few months after it's release before I get it just to make sure they aren't releasing a PS2 version with extras.

Ya know though, regarding extras, this is the one feature I was talking about before they need to eventually add to the PSP through firmware. Full support for the PS3 network should eventually be stuck on there, from cross game friend list and proper matchmaking to the online store and extra content download for games (such as, for example, patches). It's not like the memory cards aren't big enough to warrent it at this point. Those 4 gig sticks are starting to get pretty affordable.

By the way, for the longest time I was seeing my PSP as more or less a waste I was glad I didn't pay for, but recently it's been getting more and more worthwhile. I doubt it'll ever reach the lofty heights of the DS, at any point, but it seems to be surviving and even thriving in it's own right, in the same way the Gamecube lived despite it's vast underselling compared to the PS2.

As long as it finds a niche it can keep itself floating. I just dunno what that niche is. Possibly people who are looking at ipods with video and music and think well the PSP does that AND it plays games! Unfortunately the games (except for this recent SH announcement) have been krap or worthwhileless and UMD stands for Ultimate Media Disaster. Finding a selling point for the thing is difficult...

Konami loves Wii, fully supports it. If they bring a SH game to Wii... oh shitting fuck if they bring it to Wii.... i'm gonna need stitches.
