Alright, that's it, I'm not shopping there any more. First they pester me, then they sell me opened games as "new" (which is great, except they readily admit this is to lower sell-back price as they won't take opened games as new, but they will SELL them as new? Hypocracy!), then there's the uppity "ya should have preordered" attitude if they are sold out of some game (which usually I find at Wal-Mart or Best Buy anyway). About the only reason I still go there is it is close. No longer, I'll go the extra mile!

I hope Gamestop doesn't call me because I bought a 10-year-old Playstation game...

Wow... now that would be really annoying, wouldn't it...

... don't tell them your phone number?

Did the human race run out of things to complain about?

I don't see what the big deal is.

He's complaining because Gamestop is calling him when he doesn't want them to.

This isn't going to end, ever. It's a computer dedicated to annoying you with what amounts to a telemarketting call.

Telemarketting is the problem. Fire bombing is the only solution I can think of.

Not giving out your phone number is a great deterrent. I practically never get phone calls I don't want. Plus, Caller ID helps prevent me from taking one accidentally.

And on those extremely rare occasions one does get through? Very easy solution involved here: I hang up.

Every time you enter their store you are inundated with signs and such telling you that you should trade in your games, and all of the fabulous benefits that await those who do. I would deal with a call at home the same way I deal with those signs:

I ignore them, and move on :D.

Yeah, it's an annoyance, but really, so what?

Do you ever trade games in? If you do, maybe they have in their systems that you're a trader. Me? I've never parted ways with a game I've bought since the N64. Even the crappy ones I've bought due to bad judgment stay on my shelf next to the greats...as reminders to only buy good games :D. Maybe that's why I've never heard from...Aeris? Calling you from beyond the grave?

The thing is, I'm fine to an extent with the annoyances on their home turf. They are not ALLOWED to bother me on MY turf. They crossed the line. And it's a computer? How am I supposed to yell at (and make witty comments to) a computer? I can't get a machine to quit their job and spiral into depression!

That's not causing enough pain though...
