Best damn puzzle game next to Tetris.

Hey... we've pretty much been on topic for two pages. I think that's a record or something.

Puzzle Fighter is my favorite puzzle game. :) Or rather, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo... :D

Tetris and Bust-A-Move probably are the next ones.

Puyo is even better than Puzzle Fighter. Did you get SPF2T for the GBA?

No, I have the PC version... got it for $7 or $8 some four or five years ago, after playing it and really loving it in an arcade a few years before that.

Incidentally, I got Megaman X4 at the same time for the same price. They had X3 as well, but I could only afford two... and I never saw X3 for PC again. I think I made the right choices though.

You should get the GBA version. Puzzles games were made for handhelds.

True, but the PC version has better sound quality (uh, WAV files... it's a CD. Like 600MB is the WAV music. :D), better graphics, higher resolutions, better effects, clearer graphics (larger screen so you can see the detail better), easier multiplay (just need two people, not either 2 GBs or an awkward controller-sharing situation, if the game allows it...)... oh yeah, and, I believe, more options. Or at least the same number. I know that the PC version is very, very similar to the PSX version. The GB version is also based on the PSX version but limited somewhat by the limitations of the console... I bet that it doesn't have anywhere near the music quality or the (bonus) full (Japanese) vocal 'Sakura's Song'...

In short, the PC/PSX/Saturn version is better. So why spend $30 for a worse one when I have a better one that I got for about $8? :)

But my point stands. Why spend more than three times more than I did for a worse version, just to get portability?

Because puzzle games are meant to be played on handhelds.

Whenever we have religious debates, we stay on topic throughout the whole thing. Remember the infamous Pledge of Allegience thread?

Wasn't that like fourteen pages? And that's 40 post pages, a lot of forums I've been to use 20... or even 15...

Yeah, it was pretty damn long. Fourteen pages sounds about right. Finally, we all just agreed to disagree.

I see these really long threads at other forums but then I notice the 20 or 15 posts-per-page thing and realize that with 40 they'd be a whole lot shorter... :)
