Arlo was right about that Mario Wonder voice.
I don't THINK he was fired? That seems like a pretty heavy handed thing to do. Illumination is likely the ones who wanted a star-studded cast instead of specifically trained VOICE acting talent, because it is Illumination after all, but Nintendo went along with it in the end.
Unless I hear otherwise, I'm going to assume retirement. A shame, since the man clearly enjoyed the rolls he played quite a bit. He and Captain Lou Albano both did the best jobs when it came to his voice, in very different directions suiting the mediums they were in.
