The Hori EX2 Turbo pad has a regular cross-pad, thankfully. It's not the best d-pad ever but it is quite solid and a huge step up over the original 360 one. It's better than the transforming d-pad of the second-model 360 controller too.
As for the Xbox One controller, since I don't have the system I don't have any of those controllers. And as for using it as a PC gamepad, since I have a perfectly good xinput controller I don't want to buy one just for the PC unless there's a very good reason for it...
