So EA's conference happened. It was an hour and a half long and didn't have much to show, not new at least... there were a few good parts, but mostly it was just another not too great EA press conference. There was a lot of mostly uninteresting EA Sports stuff, a bunch of Star Wars Battlefront (I'm sure it'd be fun for a little while, but Battlefront/Battlefield isn't a kind of game which has ever grabbed me for long), some on Battlefield 1's expansion (fantastic graphics in that one!), and such. The interesting-looking new game from the guy behind Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons looks like it could be pretty good, though I don't know if I want to play it. And Need for Speed... well, it's a good franchise, but we'll see how this one turns out. The graphics look really good, but you can't tell how the game will actually play from that trailer. There was no mention of their upcoming Bioware sci-fi game, though it's apparently going to be at MS's press conference tomorrow. I guess I'm looking forward to seeing more of that.
