Don't forget that Solitaire is ad-supported unless you buy it. Kidding! You can't BUY Solitaire, you can't OWN property man, you have to pay a yearly subscription for Solitaire! The old Windows 7 version doesn't even allow itself to RUN on newer versions of Windows. I had to find a hack to let me play the version I already own!
This is the sort of thing that makes me shudder when Microsoft says it is positioning Windows "as a service". It's almost enough to make me want to switch to some version of Linux. Well, "almost", since the vast majority of my games won't work on Linux.
