He specifically insulted Wii games, and frankly, the Wii earned it's reputation. By far way too many third party games on that system consisted of half-hearted attempts at cheap wiggly waggly mini-games. That's not to say there weren't some amazing first party games (and just a few amazing third party games), but by and large, there was a LOT of garbage on that system. Just check out the Wii's online shop and you'll find Nintendo wasn't entirely strict with handing out that seal of quality. I'm pretty sure most third party "Wii game" developers went on to make all that trash you can find on your cell phone. A more modern version of that act would decry smart phones.
