So it's Thanksgiving, which means sales. I'm thinking of getting some stuff, but for now how about this stuff I got today, some digital Nintendo sale software. The 3DS has some decent stuff on sale for Black Friday, including retail and physical releases and some first-party games, but the Wii U list is shorter and is exclusively third-party indie games. Some of them are good indie games, but it's weird that absolutely NO first-party Wii U games are on sale here. Oddly though, the Wii U eShop has a nice holiday background theme and music playing, while the 3DS eShop just looks like normal... huh. (The prices listed are the sale prices.)
Oh, there are also Switch sales (for people with a Switch), but they look underwhelming.

Blaster Master Zero - $7 - Probably better on Switch, but this version is good too.
Mutant Mudds - $4.50 - I have this for PC, but very much want to play it in 3d, as it was originally designed...
Dillon's Rolling Western - $5 - I've always thought that this first-party title looks fun, so it's nice to finally have it.
Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure - $4.50 - This is an okay but somewhat barebones Dr. Mario game. There's no traditional arcade or story modes really, but it has some challenges to beat and online play.
Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move - $5 - Unlike the other MvDK games, this one is a different kind of puzzle game, this time somewhat inspired by Pipe Dream I believe.

Axiom Verge - $10 - The PC and Wii U versions of this are both on sale for the same amount now, but I went with this one because the Wii U version has a map on the Gamepad, which is a great feature in a Metroidvania. On other platforms you have to pause to go to a map screen, making this the best version of the game.
Bit.Trip Presents... Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien - $3.74 - I didn't love the Wii Bit.Trip games, but I guess I should try this one now that it's on sale.
Swords & Soldiers - $1 - This is a port of a WiiWare game of the same name. I've always thought it looked fun, so it's nice to have it.
RUSH - $0.67 - This Two Tribes game is one that I have for PC, but this version has full Gamepad controls so I decided to give it a try. So far I haven't bought the Wii U or 3DS versions of Toki Tori 1 (and 2 for Wii U) and EDGE, though, to mention the other cheap Two Tribes games, because I do have those on PC as well and those are pretty much the same on console as PC. Maybe I'll get the two 3DS ones, to have them portably (though I do have the original Toki Tori for GBC, so there's that), since they are also 67 cents each and Toki Tori is a very good game, but I'm not sure. (Oh, as for Rush, it's inspired by ChuChu Rocket, so it's a puzzle game; the other three here are platformers.)
Mutant Mudds Super Challenge - $4.50 - This purchase gives you a free copy of the 3DS version of this game, as well as the Wii U one. Oddly enough the 3DS version of Mutant Mudds Super Challenge is not on sale, only the original game for 3DS, so to get the 3DS version of this one for half off you need to own a Wii U and buy the game there. Weird decision there, but if you have both systems it works...
Also for $5 I got the DLC pack for FAST Racing Neo for Wii U. It's not on sale but the game is good and it's cheap so I got it.
